Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is a safe, gentle option ideal for patients with mild dental anxiety. Administered through a small mask placed over the nose, it takes effect within minutes, producing a pleasant sensation that lasts throughout your appointment. One of its biggest advantages is that the effects wear off quickly, allowing most patients to drive themselves home and resume their normal day immediately after.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Oral conscious sedation involves taking a prescribed medication before your appointment so you arrive already feeling relaxed and at ease. While you remain conscious and are still able to respond to instructions, most patients feel deeply at ease and have little to no memory of the procedure afterward. Oral conscious sedation is well-suited for patients with moderate dental anxiety, a strong gag reflex, or those undergoing longer or more complex treatments.

General Anesthesia

For those patients who require a deeper level of sedation, we also offer general anesthesia. Under general anesthesia, you will be unconscious throughout the procedure with no awareness or discomfort. This option is carefully considered on a case-by-case basis and may be appropriate for patients with specific medical, behavioral, or anxiety-related needs that make conventional treatment difficult.
