Dear Valued Patients and Friends,
After 40 years of a successful and rewarding career in dentistry together, we have both made the decision to retire from the clinical practice of dentistry to pursue other personal and family interests. This has not been an easy decision as we will greatly miss work that we enjoy and our regular interaction with excellent patients and staff. However, we are comfortable knowing that we have an outstanding practitioner who will join our practice.
We are excited to introduce Dr. Richie Shuman as our selection of lead doctor and new owner of Dental Associates of North Dallas. Over the past number of months, we have met with Dr. Shuman several times and have found him to be a kind, caring person with strong moral standards, who will serve your dental needs with the same excellence and consideration that he would his own family.
Dr. Shuman is a highly trained clinician, and we fully trust his competence, skills, and experience. He attended Baylor University and then earned his dental degree from UT Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. Dr. Shuman is proficient in general and cosmetic dentistry as well as a Certified Provider of Invisalign orthodontics. Prior to joining Dental Associates of North Dallas, Dr. Shuman worked as an associate dentist in a well known practice in the area. He is a member of several dental associations and firmly believes in continuing education in order to stay up to date with the latest treatments and procedures for his patients. He is a native of Coppell, TX and currently resides in Dallas with his wife and their one year old son.
We believe Dr. Shuman is the perfect fit and our staff is excited for him to join the team. As of May 3, 2021, we will be working alongside Dr. Shuman to complete current cases and ensure a smooth transition as he assumes ownership of the practice. All your records will remain with the office and our wonderful team will remain together with Dr. Shuman, to continue providing exceptional dental care and customer service. Most importantly, we feel our goal was achieved in finding a successor who can administer the same degree of personal care we have tried to deliver over the years.
