Today, the risks of contracting infectious diseases like AIDS, Hepatitis, and Herpes, concern us all. We take every precaution for our patient's and our own health. Our infection control measures meet or exceed the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control guidelines, including weekly sterilizer testing and monitoring. All dental instruments are cleaned ultrasonically and sterilized in our Chemiclave after each use. All handpieces are processed in our sterilization center before also being sterilized in our Chemiclave. All exposed surfaces in treatment rooms are disinfected after each patient. In the treatment rooms, all disposable items such as the plastic barrier covers and suction tips are discarded after each patient and replaced. Each treatment room is equipped with a closed water system which provides clean, sterile water during procedures. Every clinical staff member is certified in CPR.
